I am starting a non profit to help single parents who fall between the cracks when it comes to support for them to raise their child or children. Sometimes we all need a little help when it comes to living in a society where there are misuse of funds and red tape slowing down the process for which it was geared for. I am a no nonsense guy and so was my mother. She believed that if you are going to help someone don't waste time just determine their needs and help them with it. I have just filed for my incorporations and after that i will submit papers for my non profit status which is the 501c3. Until then I will tell you what services I will provide and they are as follows:

Childcare: I will provide 24 hour childcare for working parents and in case of emergency. Also for hospitalized children who need companionship when the parent needs much needed rest or needs to take care of other important chores.

School supplies: I will be seeking donations for children school supplies as well as places where you can get good quality school clothes or uniforms for member who register.

Housing: This will be a tough one. I am going to try and provide affordable housing or if funds will allow it I will build a temporary and permanent housing for single parent in cases of a housing emergency or where the situation warrants it.

Errand service: This will be sort of a concierge service to run errands and provide help where its not available for members who join. Member ship will be free but services will be selective according to need.

Scholarships: I am going to provide scholarships to parents as well as children who show desire to change their situation career wise and financially.

Referral service for career training in fields that not only can bring you a pay check but allows you to start your own business due to the skill you are trained to do.

we will have periodic family days and weekends which can include therapeutic vacations or day spas for parents while children are busy with other activities.

As this organization progress I will be adding services that ultimately helps a single parent get through the rough times and become a better parent with less stress.
